Directions for your tax software
Return comparisons and answers on the Ask a question tab are written in your software's own words: the screen, section, field and code to use.
- Set your software in Firm settings (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, Lacerte, ProConnect, ProSeries, Drake, UltraTax CS, ATX, TaxAct Professional, or other).
- Use Software notes for how your firm has it set up (custom worksheets, the way you enter K-1s, naming conventions). These override the defaults.
- Not sure where a field is? Paste a screenshot of the screen into Ask a question. The answer points to the exact box on it.
